Common questions
- Which lettuce holds up best?
- Butter lettuce or little gem: cupped leaves that hold the filling. Iceberg works too and is crunchier. The recipe records 30 g of lettuce, which is about six large leaves.
- Can I make the filling ahead?
- Yes. The chicken and carrot mixture keeps two days in the fridge and reheats in a pan in two minutes. Fill the leaves just before eating or they wilt.
