Who controls your data

MenuVita is operated by GHLOT LLC, 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801-6317, United States. GHLOT LLC is the data controller. Contact: hello@menuvita.com.

What we collect

Your name and email address, only when you request first access through a MenuVita form on our site, Facebook, or Instagram. For a Meta-hosted form, Meta also gives us the form, campaign, ad-set, ad, and lead identifiers needed to deliver and attribute your request.

The details you enter in the meal-plan questionnaire, if you complete it: age, sex, height, weight, activity level, goal, dietary requirements, and selected food exclusions. We use these details to calculate and generate the plan you request. Some of this information concerns your health, so we treat it with extra care.

Technical server logs (IP address, user agent, requested pages) kept briefly by our hosting providers for security and operations.

Ahrefs Web Analytics records aggregate page views, referral sources, campaign tags, device and browser type, language, approximate location, outbound-link clicks, and form submissions. It uses no cookies or persistent identifiers. Raw IP addresses are discarded rather than stored.

For a checkout attempt, we record the country where you say you normally live, the country inferred from your connection, your Stripe billing country, and your card issuer's country. We do not receive your complete card number.

The calorie calculator itself runs entirely in your browser. Questionnaire details reach us only when you submit the questionnaire to join the waitlist or place an order.

Why, and on what legal basis

We use your email solely to send the content you requested and, if you agreed, occasional related content. Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us.

If you submit a MenuVita form on Facebook or Instagram, we use your name and email to save your first-access request and send you the link that continues the MenuVita quiz. We use the associated advertising identifiers only to attribute that request and prevent duplicate delivery. We never add questionnaire answers to that Meta lead record.

Questionnaire answers, including health-related details, are used to assess recipe compatibility and prepare the plan you requested. They are processed on the basis of your explicit consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a) and art. 9(2)(a)). For a paid order, payment and fulfillment records are also processed as necessary to perform our contract with you (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).

Server logs are processed for security and reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

Checkout-location evidence is used to enforce the countries where sales are open, route eligible international orders through Stripe Managed Payments, prevent ineligible fulfillment, and keep an auditable record of the decision. Legal basis: compliance with tax obligations, performance of the purchase contract, and our legitimate interest in offering the service only where it is legally available.

If you allow advertising measurement, Meta receives a lead event when you finish a form. We send a hashed version of your email and limited technical identifiers for attribution and duplicate-event control. We do not send your questionnaire answers to Meta. Legal basis: your consent, which you can refuse or withdraw at any time through Privacy choices in the footer.

Google Analytics (Google LLC, USA) receives usage events such as pages viewed, quiz starts, and completed purchases when it is active. Its advertising features are disabled.

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and funnel performance. It operates without cookies or persistent identifiers and cannot recognize the same visitor across different days or devices. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the site (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

Meta advertising measurement and Microsoft Clarity remain off until you explicitly allow them. Google Analytics starts automatically only for visitors confirmed to be in the United States; elsewhere, or when location is unknown, it stays off until you allow it. You can turn Google Analytics off at any time through Privacy choices in the footer. Each choice is stored separately in your browser. Ahrefs’ cookie-free aggregate measurement loads independently of these choices.

How long we keep it

Waitlist questionnaire answers and their associated email are kept for up to 18 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Paid-order, payment, and delivery records may be kept longer where needed for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, chargebacks, or legal obligations.

Generated-plan data is kept only as long as reasonably needed to fulfill the order, recover a failed delivery, and handle support requests.

Server logs are kept briefly by our hosting providers, per their own retention policies.

Who processes your data

Google LLC (Google Analytics, USA), Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. (cookie-free web analytics, Singapore), Vercel Inc. (site hosting, USA), Cloudflare Inc. (DNS and email routing, USA), Supabase Inc. (waitlist data and recipe-planning infrastructure, USA), Stripe Inc. (checkout, payment, and order-fulfillment metadata, USA), and Resend / Plus Five Five, Inc. (email delivery, USA) process data for us. Meta Platforms hosts our Facebook and Instagram lead forms and transfers the information you choose to submit there. Separate website advertising measurement remains off unless you allow it. We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, or export of your data, and object to or restrict processing, at any time: hello@menuvita.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.
